Meet the team behind Balance:

Jonathan McQuillan is an award-winning Architect and Director at Anderson Bell Christie. With over 20 years of expertise in public sector projects, Jonathan's work has significantly influenced Scottish building standards and design guidance.

F. Pelin Ekdi is an urban planner and designer with a PhD in Urban Planning. She specialises in community carbon, sustainable urban design, and place-based net-zero solutions. Pelin is also a certified Building with Nature Assessor.

Rowena Statt, the Research and Development Director at Anderson Bell Christie, has extensive experience in community engagement and the production of design guidance. Her award-winning work spans both rural and urban locations.

Francisco Shankland is a certified construction lifecycle assessment specialist at Anderson Bell Christie. He is dedicated to tackling the challenge of embodied carbon in the construction industry, helping clients develop detailed understanding and strategies for net zero carbon plans.
