Bishopbriggs Community Hub and War Memorial Hall

The Bishopbriggs Community Hub brings together, in one building, the currently fragmented and dispersed local social, library and council services for the people and families of Bishopbriggs. This major investment into the town is designed as a meeting place with space to pause in the tight, heavily trafficked main street.

One of a series of hub buildings for East Dunbartonshire Council, designed to focus service delivery to local areas, the hub accommodates offices, group rooms, meeting rooms, interview rooms, agile working spaces as well as learning suites, local heritage area, ICT suite and the town library within a remodeled grade B listed building. Given the diversity of the users and visitors of the building, the aim of the building is to become an intrinsic part of the local community, whilst acting as a catalyst for further civic regeneration. The project was completed alongside the complete renovation of the nearby Bishopbriggs War Memorial Hall.
