International Women's Day - Guest Speakers

We were thrilled to welcome incredible guest speakers yesterday for our event focusing on inclusion and equality, as a follow up to the in-house International Women's Day workshop we held in March.

Holly Bruce, Scottish Greens Councillor and passionate advocate for gender equality, joined us to talk about how we can approach designing cities with a gendered lens to benefit everyone and discussed the impacts of the feminist motion passed by Glasgow City Council.

Missing in Architecture members Isabel Deakin, Miranda Webster and Nick Walker also joined us to discuss their work as a collaborative platform promoting diversity, equality, creativity and action within the architectural community.

It was inspiring to hear fresh perspectives, prompting important conversations, and exploring how we can incorporate these into our own work.
